This Privacy Policy describes how Cadell Software LLC (“Cadell Software,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information about visitors to and users of the marketing website located at https://cadellsoftware.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through the Site. It does not apply to the Cadell Software commercial property management application, which, when made generally available, will be governed by a separate privacy notice and subscription agreement.

By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Site.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide to Us

When you submit the waitlist or demo request form, we collect the information you choose to provide, which currently includes your name, business email address, telephone number, company name, approximate portfolio size, number of doors or units, and approximate portfolio square footage. If you otherwise contact us through the Site, we will receive any additional information you elect to include in your communication.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies, server logs, and similar technologies. This information may include your internet protocol (IP) address, an approximate geographic location derived from your IP address, browser type and language, device type and operating system, the website that referred you, the pages you view, the links you click, and the date and time of your interactions with the Site.

1.3 Information From Third-Party Services

We rely on a small number of third-party service providers to operate the Site (described in Section 4 below). Those providers may collect information about your visit on our behalf and in accordance with their own privacy practices.

2. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to operate the Site, measure analytics, and protect against automated abuse. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use the following categories:

• Strictly necessary. Cookies and challenge tokens set by Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish humans from automated traffic when you submit a form. Without these, form submission would be unprotected from abuse.
• Analytics. Cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to measure aggregate Site traffic, including page views, sessions, traffic sources, and engagement events. These cookies are configured to use IP-derived approximate location and do not identify you personally to us.

You may disable cookies through your browser settings, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or use a browser feature such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor a valid GPC signal as an opt-out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under applicable U.S. state privacy laws. Disabling cookies may impair Site functionality, including your ability to submit the waitlist form.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• respond to your inquiry, evaluate your interest, schedule walkthroughs, and otherwise communicate with you about Cadell Software;
• operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
• measure and understand Site traffic and engagement, in the aggregate;
• detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
• comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use information collected through the Site to make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not engage in “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as described in this Privacy Policy.

4.1 Service Providers (Subprocessors)

We rely on the following service providers to operate the Site. Each is contractually obligated to handle information consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law and to use information only for the purposes for which we engage them.

4.2 Legal and Protective Disclosures

We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or where disclosure is necessary to investigate or prevent fraud or security incidents, to enforce our Terms of Service, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cadell Software, our users, or others.

4.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, information collected through the Site may be transferred to the successor or acquiring entity, subject to this Privacy Policy or a successor policy of which we will provide reasonable notice.

4.4 With Your Consent

We may share information for any other purpose with your consent or at your direction.

5. Data Retention

Waitlist and contact submissions are retained in our email systems and business records for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate, respond to, and follow up on your inquiry, and thereafter for a reasonable period to maintain our business records, defend against potential claims, and comply with applicable law. Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting configured in our Google Analytics property, which is currently fourteen (14) months from the date of collection.

We may delete information sooner upon a verifiable request from you, except where we are required or permitted by law to retain it.

6. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information collected through the Site against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. The Site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections, and access to our email and operational systems is restricted to authorized personnel. No security program, however, is invulnerable, and we cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted to or from the Site.

7. International Users

The Site is operated from, and information collected through it is processed and stored in, the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Data protection laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those of your country. By using the Site, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States.

Depending on your jurisdiction and the personal information at issue, you may have the following rights:

• the right to access the personal information we hold about you;
• the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information;
• the right to request deletion of personal information;
• the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share, as those terms are defined under applicable law);
• the right to withdraw consent where our processing is based on consent;
• the right to data portability of personal information you provided to us, in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format; and
• the right to non-discrimination for exercising any of the rights above.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us as described in Section 12. We will respond to verifiable requests within the timeframe required by applicable law. We may require additional information from you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. If we deny your request, you may have the right to appeal our decision; we will provide instructions for doing so at the time of denial.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under sixteen (16) years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, we will delete that information promptly. A parent or guardian who believes their child has provided personal information through the Site may contact us as described in Section 12.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and resources that are not operated by Cadell Software. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice through the Site or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Site after the Effective Date of a revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
